Throwback to the summer and a blue sky! Alright so it’s time for a little story. For those who don’t know, before I started blogging in Dutch (and translate my content to English) on Merellisanne.nl, I was writing in English on missclumsy.com. I choose that name when I had just been thrown of a horse while horsback riding in the French Alps (where I was working at the time). The name fit perfectly because I am super clumsy. Today I had another clumsy moment while going out for a run. I wanted to stop for car, but somehow I tripped and hit my knee on the pavement. No bad injuries, but a reminder to be more careful, it is really easy to just fall down. (Trust me, it’s not the fist time I tripped on Parisian roads, 100% sober I swear.) Long story short: Parisian roads are slippery!

Alright just a little piece of advice: if you are in Paris (mainly in the touristy area) and there are woman coming up to you with clipboards, asking you to sign for whatever good cause, DON’T DO IT! It is a well known scam around the city. First they pretend that signing the paper is all you need, after they will intimidate you and try to make you pay. Today I ran into a group like that and they tried to make a girl sign. As @cescacorinne and I walked by; we told the girl not to sign, because it’s a scam. The scammers started screaming at us and tried following us around. Just their behavior proved that they got wrong intensions. Trust me, I’ve worked as a fund raiser for charity and you are definitely not allowed to threat people that way or take cash money without a collection box. Best way to deal with these girls: just ignore them.
